Proformance Welcomes Carlton Thompson

Carlton has made the switch from a SBF w/twins to a BBF w/twins  
  He also made the switch from a Powerglide to a 2 speed 400 !

Carlton is a Transmission builder from Tallahassee FL.
He purchased all of the components to build a Big Shaft 2 speed 400, including our NEW forward shift Billet Aluminum valve body !

We are looking forward to working with Carlton & we are very excited to have the opportunity to work with him !

Chuck DeMory Jr. has made the change to NMCA / Pro Street & the car has under gone a complete make over !

We are looking forward to working with Chuck DeMory Jr. & Chuck DeMory Sr. again in 2012 as this will be a car to keep your eyes on !

The car will be getting a Kris Nelson Racing Engines http://www.nelsoncompetition.com/ 640 CI BBF & will be ProCharger F-3 equipped on Methanol

This combo will be backed by one of our ST400 pro-mod  3 speeds (Super Turbo 400 w/1 1/4″ Input Shaft)

Results from 1st Round Eliminations @ Civil Wars

Kevin Fiscus won with a 5.00 @ 175+ mph
1.18 / 60′ then he had to peddle it

Ruben T did not make it very far before blowing the tires off in a losing effort.

1st Round Qualifying Results From Civil Wars

Ruben T – 4.55 @ 174+ mph – #2 qualifier

Kevin Fiscus – 4.72 (peddled) @ 176+ mph – #5 qualifier

They are drying the track from the rains that passed through last night/earlier this morning & we should be up & racing by 2:00 pm

Afternoon testing went well as Kevin Fiscus stunned everyone @ “The Rock” with a 4.41 @ 184+ mph in the heat !
Nice Job Team Fiscus / Klugger !

“Hemi Hunter” Runs .990 / 60′ on 2nd pass w/ 2 speed 400 !

Dale Wilkens driver Aaron said “it felt soft like a Sunday drive”

He lifted early since these were the first few passes on the new combo & then Dale showed him the time slip !

.990 / 60′
2.64 / 330′
4.04 / 660 ‘ @ 165 mph

After looking at the Data, Aaron had lifted @ 3.5 into the run & still went 4.04 !

Looks like the 3s are in the near future !

Congrats to Dale & Aaron along with the whole Team !

Daniel & Craig Pachar of Triangle Speed Shop Win OTTA 28×10.5 vs 275 @ Ben Bruce Memorial Raceway, Evendale TX.

After qualifying # 1 with a 5.14 @ 144 mph they made their way to the finals where they sealed the deal with a 5.02 146 mph !

Congrats to Daniel, Craig & the whole TSS Team on their win !
